6of3 website detail

The pan-galactic, pan-publisher website promoting the autumn publication of ‘And Another Thing …’, by Eoin Colfer, the sixth book in the ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ trilogy, is launched.

Block Interactive and Penguin have announced the launch of 6of3.com, the pan-galactic, pan-publisher website promoting the autumn publication of ‘And Another Thing …’, by Eoin Colfer, the sixth book in the ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ trilogy.

Engaging, interactive features include Tweet the Galaxy – where fans can ask the answer to the great question of life, the universe and, well – everything. On 12 October 09 all tweets will be transmitted into Deep Space. Will the universe respond? Sit back and enjoy the wait with up to the minute news, reviews, features as well as details on both global and local events.

Ever faced a death ray in your dressing gown?

Fans also have an opportunity to prove that they are the biggest Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy fan by simply producing a 42 second video which can be posted to YouTube in a chance to win the No.1 Hitchhiker fan competition. Or failing that, they can Destroy the Earth Now in the addictive Vogon Constructor Fleet Training Flash game.

Anna Rafferty, Managing Director, Penguin Digital:

“We are very excited with what Block Interactive has achieved. The involvement of existing fans in 6of3.com was very important to us and Block have delivered a great-looking site that places their views and opinions centre-stage, which will ensure 6of3.com really is a fitting accompaniment to the October launch of the sixth book in the ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ trilogy and hopefully will entice masses of new fans.”

Earthlings – at the time of writing, you now have 27 days until annihilation the release of ‘And Another Thing…’
