Supercute Japanese designer toy goodness

Momiji, the much-respected designer toy brand, needed a comprehensive online marketing strategy to complement their increasingly successful retail operation.

Following many coffees with the lovely peeps from Momiji by the dockside in Bristol, Block formulated an online strategy for Momiji that would create a vibrant online community, encourage creativity and communication, increase exposure and generate extra sales.

The main exponent of this was the new Momiji site, containing a number of exciting interactive Flash features such as Blink – a user-generated Momiji Doll photo gallery based in an animated universe, and Spread The Love – giving users illustrated presents to send to their friends.

A completely new online identity was created for Momiji, with exciting and super-cute custom animations and illustrations creating a rich and immersive world.

Combined with this was an online Shop, with elegantly executed eCommerce functionality giving users access to Momiji products that were previously only available in retailers such as Selfridges.
